client: Initiative Creative Gaming e.V. The PLAY – Creative Gaming Festival is a cultural festival about different possibilities with, within and around Video Games. People of variety in age, culture, and game relation (some more and some don't usually play) come together at PLAY to play in the exhibition, create in Workshops, discuss in talks and celebrate different aspects of this medium. It is important for this festival to reach out to a more diverse spectrum besides game enthusiasts and to include by that. The PLAY17 was the 10th PLAY – Creative Gaming Festival. The birthday related topic was "The Time Is Now".

client: Creative Gaming e.V. The Play16 is a festival like any music festival, but with games. It is for people who like especially the innovative ones by independent developers or even for developers. This years motto was "Let's get physical. Game and body." The games that were exhibited had something to do with the theme be it through the controller like virtual reality or games that contained the topic otherwise through the bodies in the game. Also, there are workshops, talks and shows for diverse interests and ages, be it making, developing, philosophical, academical or just the plain, old, main point: playing. I worked during and before the festival for them and helped with everything I could and know about Design, Illustration and crafting and learned a lot for myself. Now I can create concrete stands for displays. The festival was a lot of fun and a challenging experience.

A cynical visualization of sexism and the reduction of females. This phenomenon has the effect of a reduced self definition of both genders. The old role thinking is hard to get out of society. Some things still seem normal, even if they are dehumanizing. Here's some creature design to the effects of that thinking.

Truthfully, this was a nightmare I had about me and my sister when I was about 6 years old. I felt these emotions and never forgot it, so I decided to write it down and draw the the scene.

A friend asked if I wanted to take part in his book about a Post Rock Band with something I associated during listening to the music. Being me and totally sober, of course, I associated it with a cyclops who was almost blind because cyclops are gigantic and he suffered from vertigo. So he closed his eyes and one day or night – he doesn't know time – a black hole opened in his eye and was forced open by a kraken. The day he could see more than a two-eyed alien or other of his species. 

I started with a raven while thinking about the poem of Poe. During the process I began to get interested in the important character that was mentioned: Lenore. She had another part in a poem named by herself by Gottfried August Bürger where she grieves and swears because of lost love to a senseless war others fight. In the end her fiancee arrives on a horse and rides with her to their deathbed. So she was punished for blasphemy, because others decided that she was wrong. As a work of fiction I like the story, but as a statement from a religious man, I thought of it as even sadder. This ended in a mixed visualization of both poems about her perspective, her unfulfilled love, anger, bitterness and her tristesse.

A handcrafted mini zine for ABC Magazinladen, a pop up store for independent magazines that will be open in October and November of 2016. I made some restrictions for my self: 1. let it out (you know, the stuff that's sometimes happens to come to mind), it's ok and just honest. 2. maximum 2 days (for everything incl. crafting) 3. The layout should be drawn. Minimum altering in InDesign and Photoshop Why? I was in the mood to. It was fun and there will definitely be a second issue. These pure drawings are the very beginning of some projects and ideas and some just stand for themselves. I love to colorize and built a world around these drawings, but also the reduced state of ink on paper.

A little story about a species that provoked their own genocide.

This amusing question was asked sometimes now. Even in Germany this name is uncommon. I made a project out of this and and use it now. It is as cryptic as the question of identity.
